Daily Flights
We offer regular flights 7 days a week, with a minimum of 4 guests to confirm a flight on your chosen date, or 2 guests for an exclusive experience.

Our pilots hold CASA Commercial Balloon Pilot Licences and boast a 100% safety record. Goldrush Ballooning operates under CASA’s Air Operators Certificate C569224.

Paul Gibbs
With a ballooning career that began in 1985, Paul has achieved remarkable accolades, including a World Bronze Medal and five Australian Championships. He holds an Australian CPL(Balloons), CASA Flight Instructor/ Examiner rating, and a Chilean Piloto Comercial (Globo Libre). In 2019, Paul was honoured with the Fédération Aéronautique Internationale’s Tissandier Diploma for his contributions to sport aviation.
Josie White
After an impressive performance at the Women's World Championship (WWC), we are please to have Josie as part of the Goldrush team.
Curtis Greenwood
Leading our High Country pilots, Curtis brings 18 years of professional ballooning experience. A former commercial helicopter pilot, Curtis now enjoys the serene skies of Victoria, flying balloons and hang gliders.
Maaike Bierma
When not managing our operations and crewing, Maaike is also a private balloon pilot, dedicated to ensuring your experience is seamless and enjoyable.
Craig Morrison
Craig is an aviation enthusiast and General Manager of the Benalla Aviation Museum. He has many years of experience crewing for hot air balloons, large and small.
Richard Michell
With extensive balloon retrieval experience across Europe, Latin America, and Australia, Richard ensures every flight is expertly supported.
