Flight Details
We meet at Brown Brothers' Historic Barn about 30 minutes before sunrise. After a short drive to the launch field, you'll be involved in the balloon’s inflation process if you wish. Following a safety briefing, enjoy a safe, friendly, and professional flight. The ground crew will meet us at the landing site and drive you back to Brown Brothers. The entire experience lasts 3 to 4 hours, suitable for ages 6 and up.
Scenic Highlights
Starting from Brown Brothers Milawa Airfield, you’ll fly over the winery and vineyard, with views of the King and Ovens valleys, the historic Oxley Flour Mill, and the King River. We adapt our launch locations to ensure the best experience based on wind conditions.
Prosecco Breakfast
After your flight, join us for a delightful Prosecco Breakfast at Lancemore Milawa Hotel. Enjoy a glass of crisp Brown Brothers Prosecco, a hot-cooked breakfast, and a buffet selection of fruit, cereal, toast, tea, or coffee. Non-flying friends and family are welcome to join for breakfast.
Meeting Details
Our meeting time varies with sunrise, usually around 30 minutes before first light. We gather at the Historic Barn, Brown Brothers Milawa Vineyard. Your Duty Pilot will confirm arrangements the night before your flight.

Getting to Milawa
- From Hume Highway: Milawa is 11 minutes east of the Hume Highway, easily accessible from Victoria's northeast and Albury/Wodonga, NSW.
- From Melbourne: A 2 hour 25 minute drive northbound on the M31 Hume Highway.
